VESUVIUS, through its FURNCO Construction Division has over 35 years of experience rebuilding Coke Oven thru-walls – single, double or triple wall installations – as well as end flue repairs and Coke Oven maintenance.

VESUVIUS offers a complete product line for virtually all aspects of Coke Oven refractory maintenance and replacement.

This includes, but is not restricted to:

• Specialized silica gunning materials (BELSIL™ and COKSIL™ lines)
• Typical gunning mixes (HYDRA-PLUS^® 60 AF)
• Door plug lining material (CRITERION^®FS)
• Wharf repair materials (typical brick, gunning repairs HYDRA TUFFGUN™, pre-cast shapes AR 153 VC)
• Materials for topside and bench repairs.

Through our experience in Coke Oven construction, we have developed innovative ideas and products to help solve refractory problems in a coke plant. We have products that can be used in offtake linings, material chute linings as well as unique methods and materials for repair of unusual problems within a coke plant. With our experience and our research group, we will work with our customers to satisfy their refractory needs within the Coke Oven area.
