VESUVIUS ZYAROCK® high purity fused silica casting accessories are manufactured using slip casting or injection moulding techniques. This special process ensures that the ZYAROCK® components have a high quality surface finish and dimensional accuracy.
All ZYAROCK® casting and flow control accessories are available in a wide variety of standard sizes and can be made to customer specific sizes as required.
 VESUVIUS also manufactures ZYAROCK® thimbles and transition plates for hot top billet casting tables, along with our unique specially engineered material for hot top casting table cross feeders called ZYAFOAM™. This material is manufactured using special techniques to achieve a hard fused silica outer surface that is sintered to an internal highly porous centre. ZYAFOAM™ provides excellent insulation properties with a durable working face.
