VESUVIUS is a long established manufacturer of the highest quality, fully sintered ceramic foam filters for the aluminium industry.
ALUCEL® filters are fully sintered, exhibit good thermal shock resistance and due to their superior strength these filters have less “snow” effect than phosphate bonded filters. The special processing techniques used to manufacture ALUCEL® filters results in fewer blocked pores.
 VESUVIUS has also developed the NEW WAVE™ filter, which is a unique corrugated ALUCEL® filter, which effectively increases and maximises the filtration surface area of the filter.
ALUCEL® and NEW WAVE™ filters are available in a variety of standard sizes, or can be custom made to specification.
