Vesuvius will introduce in early 2008, a new patented all mechanical end cap attachment system, trademarked Smartly Driven^TM Glass Tempering rolls. This new end cap attachment system will eliminate most of the currently supplied conventional resin bonded systems in use today and will provide for a superior performing product. The concept uses a novel fixation system to lcok the cap in place on the silica roller. More importantly this new system addresses health and safety concerns in the work place by making the manufacturing process environmentally and ergonomically friendly "GREEN APPROACH".
