This is an all-metal end cap attachment system that does not involve the use of silicon or adhesives. The end cap employs flat spring steel bands inside of the end cap in direct contact with the ceramic. Originally designed and patented by Glasstech, this end cap system is available exclusively through VESUVIUS on fused silica furnace rollers for Glasstech equipment.
