NOZZLE CHANGERS

VESUVIUS has developed high performances and user-friendly Calibrated Nozzle Changers.
The two alternatives "CNC" and "SYS120" allow VESUVIUS to respond to any specific market needs.
More than 120 ladles sequence already reach with about 10 nozzle changes.
Advantages of the CNC:
- Light weight detachable cassette
- Detachable hydraulic plate loader
- Easy off-line preparation (no assembly shop needed)
- Same mechanism applied for open stream casting or submerged casting
- Simple tundish preparation and easy deskulling
Advantages of the SYS120:
- The rugged system design enhances the stability and reliability of the mechanism.
- The System 120 is equipped with four cantilevered spring fingers to provide the clamping force between the top plate/nozzle surface and the nozzle plate. No adjusting of these spring fingers is required.
- The location of the spring fingers minimizes any heat transfer to them. Surfaces of the mobile and fixed plates stay perfectly matched under normal operating conditions.
- All refractory is supplied ready to use making the System 120 fast and easy to set up.
