The VESUVIUS Stopper range offers a wide choice of products designed for both tundish and foundry ladle or autopour applications:

All VESUVIUS stopper types are tailored to suit individual customer casting conditions. The VESUVIUS team of expert application engineers can guide you through the available options.
 For instance, in tundish applications where argon injection through the stopper is required, the Argorod™ attachment is designed to give a gas tight connection combined with a rigid assembly for auto-control systems.
For high performance applications, a range of special mixes are availabe for the stopper head or the slag line, custom formulated for the particular steel composition or casting conditions.
Our patented Profiler™ stopper offers optimised performance with minimum weight.
