Product Overview

SMARTT is a specially developed, innovative software which drives the latest Foseco MTS 1500 Degassing and Melt Treatment Stations. The SMARTT software analyses in real-time all critical process parameters known to impact the degassing operation - such as rotor design and size, melt quantity, ladle design, alloy type and temperature, and ambient conditions - and programs the optimum degassing and treatment cycle in terms of rotor speed, inert gas quantity, and cycle time required to deliver the target aluminium melt quality.

The operator can select from different optimization modes to deliver either maximum productivity (shortest cycle), lowest gas usage, or low consumable wear, while ensuring uniform melt quality after each treatment regardless of the initial condition.
