Piromet has joined the Vesuvius Group

This integration allows Vesuvius to leverage piroMET's existing 10+ references on EAF equipment as part of its smart solutions and products offering. The collaboration aims to differentiate Vesuvius's presence in the gunning market by combining technological advantages in mechatronics, lasers, and materials, ultimately improving safety, steelmaking productivity, and maintenance performance in terms of accuracy and durability. Through this, Vesuvius actively promotes its equipment in conjunction with its products to offer comprehensive solutions to customers.

EAF Maintenance Equipment

Vesuvius offers a comprehensive EAF maintenance portfolio centred on Vesuvius Advanced Robotic Gunning (VARG) for EAF, alongside piroGUN equipment, Fettling and Ramming Equipment, and Laser Contouring Systems (LCS) for high-temperature refractory thickness measurement.

BOF Maintenance Equipment

Vesuvius offers a comprehensive maintenance portfolio for Basic Oxygen Furnaces (BOF), primarily featuring Vesuvius Advanced Robotic Gunning (VARG) for BOF, supported by piroGUN equipment, and the Laser Contouring System (LCS) ANTERIS 360/300.
